The Isle of Wight in the Past. With its wealth of natural beauty and maritime connections, the IOW has been subject of film makers since cinematography began. Through rare clips, some as early as 1919, scenes of Cowes Regatta during the early 30s and outstanding full-colour footage recorded in the 1950s and 60s we see the Island in all its glory through the ages.
